The Masterplan defined specific retail areas and mixed
use residential commercial sites. As part of the Master
plan design, urbanplan undertook an assessment of
the floorspace provision and siting of these commercial
components. The retail site was positioned to attract
passing trade from the Geelong Bypass Road. The
Mixed Use sites were positioned to take advantage of
the river aspect and the internal open space spin.
