Papunya and Hermannsburg Area Plans<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

urbanplan<\/strong> has successfully achieved the Endorsement of the Community Area Plans for Papunya and Hermannsburg to set the direction for Aboriginal communities\u2019 growth.  This outcome represents the skill set and experience to achieve the delivery of services for Indigenous community planning.  The success of achieving the Endorsement of the Area Plans was premised on the following process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Establishing background knowledge and context about the Community and Country through research, aerial photography analysis, liaison with all levels of government and detailed community engagement. <\/li>
  • Multiple meetings to develop a trustworthy working relationship with the government officers of the Department of Infrastructure Planning and Logistics Central Land Council, and federal government General Business Managers of the respective Communities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Significantly developing a trusting relationship with Elder and Traditional Owners of the communities was imperative<\/p>\n\n\n\n
